3. A Next-Generation Golf Course Arrives

The brand-new course, designed by 17-time PGA Tour champion Jim Furyk, has officially opened for both Resident and Non-Resident Members, with its Grand Opening scheduled for November. Oktoberfest celebrations are on tap as well. On October 12, Downtown Fort Pierce transforms for the annual Oktoberfest Block Party, as Sailfish Brewing takes over 2nd Street with craft brews, local food vendors, and live music. The popular, family-friendly festival brings together fall flavors and Bavarian traditions for a lively coastal celebration.

5. Amenities Planned for All Seasons

One newly announced 55+ neighborhood is inviting homebuyers to see how they can make the most out of every other season. K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Wylder is debuting their new amenity center, the Audubon Club, October 15th. Homebuyers will be invited to tour the resort-style amenities, along with the five model homes that are open daily for tours. The Audobon Club will feature a pool, fitness center, putting green, tennis and pickleball courts, and a full-time lifestyle director. 6. Cooking Up Community Flavors

For those wishing to spice things up, head to the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County’s 43rd Annual “Chills & Thrills” Chili Cook-Off. This beloved community tradition takes over Clover Park on October 18, with chili tastings from local teams, live music, and plenty of games in the free Kids Zone. It’s an open-air, family-friendly day designed for all ages, and the contests and festive atmosphere help support local youth programs.

7. A Port St. Lucie Fall Fun Fest

On October 31st – November 2nd, the MIDFLORIDA Event Center is coming to life with three days of crisp-season magic. The Port St. Lucie Fall Fun Fest is filled with live music, carnival rides, and plenty of food vendors to fuel the fun. Other standout events include the Saturday Street of Treats trick-or-treating adventure, and the Haunted Trail put together by a local boy scout troop.

No PSL weekend feels complete without a stop at the farmers markets. The Fort Pierce Market brings the waterfront alive every Saturday with autumn produce, handmade goods, and live music. On Sundays in Port St. Lucie, the new Green Market at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center and the Tradition Neighborhood Market are ideal for seasonal fruits, spiced baked goods, and jars of local honey.
