Nine days after moving into Brystol South at Wylder, Kaitlyn and Andrew Sterken were already settling into a new weekend routine. Their children had discovered the neighborhood pool. Walks around the community had become easy to work into the day. And Andrew’s drive to work in Tradition was about nine minutes.
The family didn’t move far. They previously lived elsewhere in Port St. Lucie. But even that early, they were noticing something bigger about the move: more of their time was going to the things they actually wanted to do.
Brystol is a neighborhood within Wylder, a master-planned community in Port St. Lucie. With resort-style amenities steps from home, lawn maintenance included and easy access to the places Treasure Coast residents already go, Brystol makes it easier to spend more of the weekend on what you enjoy.

More Time and More Fun, Built In
At Brystol, neighborhood amenities are close at hand and lawn maintenance is included, so Saturday mornings can start at the pool instead of behind a mower.
“He doesn’t have to do the lawn anymore,” Kaitlyn said of Andrew. “So that gives us more time to go to the pool and go to Disney and all the fun things.”
For the Sterkens, the pool was an immediate favorite. Within days of getting access, Kaitlyn said, the kids were asking to go back almost every morning. Brystol’s beach-entry pool sits alongside a resident-exclusive clubhouse, fitness center, pickleball courts, playground and dog park, all set among scenic lakes and preserved natural areas. Wylder’s interconnected pathways extend that space further, connecting walkers and bikers to the larger community.

Keep the Places You Already Love
Wylder sits off Midway Road in Port St. Lucie, about 1 mile from I-95, so the rest of the Treasure Coast—and beyond—is never far. For families already living in the area, a move to Brystol doesn’t have to change where weekends happen. Kaitlyn said reaching places in Tradition and St. Lucie West now feels “either quicker or the same distance” compared with their previous home.
That access means a weekend can go as far as you want it to. A round of golf can stay inside the community at Glynlea Country Club. Dinner in Tradition is a short drive away. In spring, the Mets train at Clover Park, about 15 minutes away. And for days spent outdoors, parks, beaches and waterways across Port St. Lucie and the Treasure Coast are there for exploring.

What Would You Do With More Time?
Nine days in, the Sterkens’ weekends already looked different. The lawn was taken care of. The kids had a pool they asked to visit almost every morning. And the places they already loved in Tradition and St. Lucie West were as close as ever, or closer.
That’s the combination Brystol offers; resort-style amenities within the neighborhood, lawn maintenance taken care of and quick access to I-95 and the rest of Port St. Lucie. What you do with the extra time is up to you.
Plan your visit to Wylder, tour Brystol, see the amenities and open spaces throughout the community and picture what your own weekends could look like. You may find the biggest difference isn’t how much there is to do. It’s how much more of your weekend you get to spend doing it.
